と言う意味ですが注意点！
a bit of の後ろに来るのは名詞ですが
名詞の前にa/anがつく可算名詞かどうか
知る必要があります。
①可算名詞（数えられる名詞）に付ける場合

単に
「数えられる＝可算名詞」

と言う概念だけで捉えると困惑！
特に日本の感覚だと何でも数えられる気がします。
例えば、上記の例にあげた「情報＝information」
日本語だと
「１つの情報だけに惑わされるな！」
「２つの有益な情報が入った。」
と言うので数えられそうな。。。
でも英語の「information」は
「不可算名詞」
数えられない「抽象名詞」と捉える！
「私は確かな情報を得た。」

そうなんだ！ネィティヴは
「information = 量、質、集合体」
で受け止めるんだ。
だから数えられない名詞。
もしさっきの「１つの情報に惑わされるな」を英語で言うなら

❌「Don’t be fooled by just one information.」
不可算名詞は数えられないので
“one information“
“two informations“
とは言わないのですね。
もし単位を表現するなら上記のように
”one piece of information”
