24あの町に正しい者が五十人いるとしても、それでも滅ぼし、その五十人の正しい者のために、町をお赦しにはならないのですか。 24 What if there are fifty righteous people in the city? Will you really sweep it away and not spare the place for the sake of the fifty righteous people in it?25正しい者を悪い者と一緒に殺し、正しい者を悪い者と同じ目に遭わせるようなことを、あなたがなさるはずはございません。全くありえないことです。全世界を裁くお方は、正義を行われるべきではありませんか。」
25 Far be it from you to do such a thing—to kill the righteous with the wicked, treating the righteous and the wicked alike. Far be it from you! Will not the Judge of all the earth do right?”
これに対し、神は聞き入れます。
26主は言われた。
「もしソドムの町に正しい者が五十人いるならば、その者たちのために、町全部を赦そう。」 26 The Lord said, “If I find fifty righteous people in the city of Sodom, I will spare the whole place for their sake.”

28.What if the number of the righteous is five less than fifty?Will you destroy the whole city for lack of five people?”

“Where are the men who came to you tonight? Bring them out to us so that we can have sex with them.”

「どうか、皆さん、乱暴なことはしないでください。 “No, my friends. Don’t do this wicked thing.
8実は、わたしにはまだ嫁がせていない娘が二人おります。皆さんにその娘たちを差し出しますから、好きなようにしてください。ただ、あの方々には何もしないでください。この家の屋根の下に身を寄せていただいたのですから。」 8 Look, I have two daughters who have never slept with a man. Let me bring them out to you, and you can do what you like with them. But don’t do anything to these men, for they have come under the protection of my roof.”
「さあ、彼らより先に、お前を痛い目に遭わせてやる。」 9 “Get out of our way,” they replied. “This fellow came here as a foreigner, and now he wants to play the judge! We’ll treat you worse than them.”
10二人の客はそのとき、手を伸ばして、ロトを家の中に引き入れて戸を閉め、 10 But the men inside reached out and pulled Lot back into the house and shut the door.

戸口の前にいる男たちに、老若を問わず、目つぶしを食わせ、戸口を分からなくした。 11 Then they struck the men who were at the door of the house, young and old, with blindness so that they could not find the door.
目潰しときました。
天使たちはロトに言います。

1２ほかに、あなたの身内の人がこの町にいますか。あなたの婿や息子や娘などを皆連れてここから逃げなさい。 “Do you have anyone else here—sons-in-law, sons or daughters, or anyone else in the city who belongs to you? Get them out of here,
15「さあ早く、あなたの妻とここにいる二人の娘を連れて行きなさい。さもないと、この町に下る罰の巻き添えになって滅ぼされてしまう。 “Hurry! Take your wife and your two daughters who are here, or you will be swept away when the city is punished.”
16ロトはためらっていた。主は憐れんで、二人の客にロト、妻、二人の娘の手をとらせて町の外へ避難するようにされた。 16 When he hesitated, the men grasped his hand and the hands of his wife and of his two daughters and led them safely out of the city, for the Lord was merciful to them.
“Flee for your lives! Don’t look back, and don’t stop anywhere in the plain! Flee to the mountains or you will be swept away!”
命懸けで逃げること、山へ逃げること、決して振り返らないこと。
それに対し、ロトは

「18主よ、できません。 19あなたは僕に目を留め、慈しみを豊かに示し、命を救おうとしてくださいます。しかし、わたしは山まで逃げ延びることはできません。恐らく、災害に巻き込まれて、死んでしまうでしょう。 “No, my lords, please!19 Your servant has found favor in your eyes,and you have shown great kindness to me in sparing my life. But I can’t flee to the mountains; this disaster will overtake me, and I’ll die.
「山まで逃げるなんて出来ない」って言うのです。
聖書の世界的にここは「神を信じて突き進め！」だろっ！
って突っ込みたくなります。
その代わりに言ったのがこのセリフです。

20御覧ください、あの町を。あそこなら近いので、逃げて行けると思います。あれは小さな町です。あそこへ逃げさせてください。あれはほんの小さな町です。どうか、そこでわたしの命を救ってください。 20 Look, here is a town near enough to run to, and it is small. Let me flee to it—it is very small, isn’t it? Then my life will be spared.”
21.よろしい。そのこともあなたの願いを聞き届け、あなたの言うその町は滅ぼさないことにしよう。 22急いで逃げなさい。あなたがあの町に着くまでは、わたしは何も行わないから。 “Very well, I will grant this request too; I will not overthrow the town you speak of.22 But flee there quickly, because I cannot do anything until you reach it.”
24主はソドムとゴモラの上に天から、主のもとから硫黄の火を降らせ、 24 Then the Lord rained down burning sulfur on Sodom and Gomorrah—from the Lord out of the heavens25これらの町と低地一帯を、町の全住民、地の草木もろとも滅ぼした。 25 Thus he overthrew those cities and the entire plain, destroying all those living in the cities—and also the vegetation in the land.
26ロトの妻は後ろを振り向いたので、塩の柱になった。 26 But Lot’s wife looked back, and she became a pillar of salt.
27アブラハムは、その朝早く起きて、さきに主と対面した場所へ行き、 28ソドムとゴモラ、および低地一帯を見下ろすと、炉の煙のように地面から煙が立ち上っていた。 27 Early the next morning Abraham got up and returned to the place where he had stood before the Lord. 28 He looked down toward Sodom and Gomorrah, toward all the land of the plain, and he saw dense smoke rising from the land, like smoke from a furnace.
アブラハムがひたすらロトの為に祈っていた様子が伺えますね。
29.こうして、ロトの住んでいた低地の町々は滅ぼされたが、神はアブラハムを御心に留め、ロトを破滅のただ中から救い出された。 29 So when God destroyed the cities of the plain, he remembered Abraham, and he brought Lot out of the catastrophe that overthrew the cities where Lot had lived.
やっぱり、上記の内容から「アブラハムのおかげ」でロトと娘たちは助かったのです。
その他の親族は、信じなかった為に助かる命だったのに滅ぼされてしまいました。
ロトと二人の娘たち
ツォアルの町に逃げたロトと二人の娘たち。
その後、そこに留まらずに山の洞穴に住みました。
30ロトはツォアルを出て、二人の娘と山の中に住んだ。ツォアルに住むのを恐れたからである。彼は洞穴に二人の娘と住んだ。 30 Lot and his two daughters left Zoar and settled in the mountains, for he was afraid to stay in Zoar. He and his two daughters lived in a cave.
31姉は妹に言った。 31 One day the older daughter said to the younger,
父も年老いてきました。この辺りには、世のしきたりに従って、わたしたちのところへ来てくれる男の人はいません。 32さあ、父にぶどう酒を飲ませ、床を共にし、父から子種を受けましょう。 “Our father is old, and there is no man around here to give us children—as is the custom all over the earth. 32 Let’s get our father to drink wine and then sleep with him and preserve our family line through our father.”
33 That night they got their father to drink wine, and the older daughter went in and slept with him. He was not aware of it when she lay down or when she got up.
34あくる日、姉は妹に言った。
34 The next day the older daughter said to the younger,
わたしは夕べ父と寝ました。今晩も父にぶどう酒を飲ませて、あなたが行って父と床を共にし、父から子種をいただきましょう。 “Last night I slept with my father.
Let’s get him to drink wine again tonight, and you go in and sleep with him so we can preserve our family line through our father.”
36このようにして、ロトの二人の娘は父の子を身ごもり、 36 So both of Lot’s daughters became pregnant by their father. 37やがて、姉は男の子を産み、モアブ（父親より）と名付けた。彼は今日のモアブ人の先祖である。 37 The older daughter had a son, and she named him Moab; he is the father of the Moabites of today.
38妹もまた男の子を産み、ベン・アミ（わたしの肉親の子）と名付けた。彼は今日のアンモンの人々の先祖である。 38 The younger daughter also had a son, and she named him Ben-Ammi; he is the father of the Ammonites.
